Each Student who attends the Vienna Summer School on Oncology
has to present a Poster. The topics should deal with various aspects of Oncology and should furthermore include countryspecific details (e.g. Screening methods in Norway, etc.). The Posters will be presented within the so-called "Poster Sessions", followed by a general discussion about the Differences of the numerous Countries and their modalities in terms of Cancer Treatment.
In order to plan the Poster Sessions according to their topic, EVERY STUDENT IS REQUIRED TO SEND AN ABSTRACT OF THEIR PRESENTATION TO DR. SABINE FROMM OR DR. GREGOR GOLDNER PRIOR TO THE START OF THE SUMMER SCHOOL!
The Posters should already be finsihed when coming to the Summer School. There will be no additional preparation time during the Sessions
Intention: The intent of this course is to bring together medical students from diverse countries to enable international medical and scientific training and to provide a basis for future cooperation of health professionals.

The main goal of the Summer School is helping students become familiar with critical issues in oncology-related basic research and clinical practice. A survey on
the current view of the malignant transformation process and its various clinical manifestation will be presented.
